Yesterday’s Adventure, we headed to the MindSpa to find our inner light.
On the way, we found something important, kept it close. Inside, we each found (or reconnected with) our inner light and strengthened it. We explored how to navigate the world, what changed for us, when illuminated from within.
It’s hard for me to say what happened. It’s hard to describe. Everyone’s journey was different, got something unique out of it.
And then we finished with an excellent chat: we’re much more than just the conscious part of us. When you’re sleeping, someone calls your name and you wake up – who was doing the listening? (Of course there was more, but you had to be there.)
A really enjoyable experience all round. A big thank you to Kerry Lee of https://www.kerryleeart.com/ for her inner light request and her ability to spark great dialogue.

Where do we begin? If we were to start somewhere near the beginning, I might ask you do you have an Inner Light? What does ‘inner light’ mean to you?
I think it’ll mean very different things to different people. For me, it’s ineffable, hard to be specific and describe it.
We talk about when people regain that ‘spark’, or a light in their eyes. There’s a sense that someone or something is vividly alive, conscious. A part that is fundamentally hopeful, that wants to live, thrive. Ask a Star Trek fan, and you might get a different answer.

Or a Beatles fan: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Inner_Light_(song)
Or someone who is religious or spiritual: https://www.britannica.com/topic/Inner-Light
Do you even need an Inner Light to get benefits from the experience? For me, I don’t think so. Our minds are exquisite at creating meaning, linking things, using analogies and metaphor to make sense of the world. Our imagination is enough to affect our experience of the world, how our body responds, what world we create for ourselves. I think anyone who’s ever dreamed could attest to that.

If you had an Inner Light, would it have a colour?
What colour would it be?
Is it in your body or somewhere else?
What happens if you turn that colour up?

If you were to close your eyes, and turn your Inner Light up, what do you notice inside?
What do you notice outside?
What is illuminated for you?
What lies in the shade?
What lies in the dark?
Do you get any insights or additional information?
