A visit to the future,
experience of rewarding success,
noticing all the steps that lead directly to it.
Plus, a secret ingredient to make it easier…
It’s the time of year when lots of people make new year’s resolutions: commitments to change in the coming year. I’ve not met many people who have kept these commitments and succeeded.
The best time to make a change is whenever you can, rather than on an arbitrary date.
The best motivation is not popular culture legacy.
So, let’s look at the broader context:
we’ve just been through the winter solstice, with its reversals, putting things to rest, and rebirth;
and we’ve enjoyed gifts and gratitude just after boxing day.
We’ve cleaned up some less-than-delightful stuff, explored some joyful and special experiences – the foundations are set, so let’s start planning for the future.
Not wishful thinking –
stepping out into a compelling, rewarding, future of success. Then figuring out how we got there. Finally, marking out the path clearly, so we can see, hear and feel our way to the future we want.
