Clear out stress, scrub it away. Leave feeling fresh, refreshed, clean and renewed.
I’d been fretting on Tuesday – stressed. I’d spent weeks on configuring an e-mail platform so members and subscribers could choose how often they’d like to be contacted and, most importantly (I think), sign up for live events. Every time I thought I’d crafted a solution to the platform’s shortcomings and annoying interactions, there was yet another reason it couldn’t work.
And it turns out the e-mail platform was bad. It just didn’t do the job. All that work, time, effort, wasted. Promises broken, no matter how hard I tried to make them happen. I didn’t have the time or energy to deal with other important things, and it was sucking up my time.
I was stressed; dejected; I couldn’t think straight. I needed a break – some space from the frustration and pressure. I needed to get calm, clarity, creative.
So, I lay down and did something about the stress: I headed off to my MindSpa and the Room for Scrubbing Bubbles.
Well, 10 minutes later I was feeling better;
by 20 minutes I’d cleared enough crap out of my head and nervous system that I could start seeing clearly again and make smarter decisions;
at 30 minutes I’d formulated new plans, scrapped the attachment to the past efforts, and started on the next plans.
And then I got a request for our Tuesday MindSpa Weekly for something to help soothe big stress.
So, we gathered on Zoom and settled in for another MindSpa Adventure …
